Found Cat

Between Shoal Point Road and Pickering Beach Road

Ajax

on property on west side of Marjoram Drive, backing onto dense forest which is between the tributaries of Shoal Point Road and Pickering Beach Road in Ajax.

This cat, who we have named Growlie was caught August 6, 2005 . Because he had been declawed he was defenceless and unable to hunt for food.  At the point of capture the vet considered him to be emaciated. Wounds remaining from the imprint of predator fangs on both sides of hind quarters had been in a constant state of abcessing and draining. Therefore it can be assumed that he had been lost for quite a while. Growlie does peculiar things with the human ear....also stands on hind legs to see/beg for what is on kitchen counter....Because of his special personality you will know if it is your cat by viewing this video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aMCxNbsS_4 .

If you think this is your cat please phone 905-839-8983, ask for Rocky and refer to the cat as “Growlie” or email actionvolunteers@yahoo.com
