An AVA Fundraiser

an evening of euchre

-

Saturday, July 11th, 2009

(7-11pm)

(free lessons 6-7pm)

Location :  Royal Canadian Legion, 2 Robinson Ave (Danforth & Warden )
Price: $20 ticket (includes euchre, 1 door ticket and tea, coffee and desserts)

Please join us for a fun-filled evening of cards, food and friends.
We will be playing euchre for fun and all are encouraged to join us- you don’t need to have a partner or be a great card player. We will  even be hosting free lessons one hour before we start for those of you that have never played before or just want a refresher.
There will be a cash bar with a range of alcohol; and non alcoholic drinks available.  During breaks we’ll also have free tea, coffee and sweets available.
Door prizes and raffle tickets will also be available for purchase and all monies raised from this great evening event will be put towards our “Poor Tom” Fund, which helps stray and homeless animals as well as providing vet assistance for those that need it.

I will accept no excuses from my family and friends not to be there (or at least buy a ticket) as I am giving you ample notice.
This will be a really fun event and this is a great fundraiser for the animals (as well as having a cheap bar).

Please note, regarding the pronoun "I", threats to family members and allusions to the "cheap" bar, thisannouncement was originally drafted by Denielle
